Reset & Renew Retreat : May 2019

RESET & RENEW RETREAT
MAY 3-5, 2019

Join co-facilitators Stacy Walsh & Rachel Redmond for this female-centered, healing weekend retreat at the peaceful Inn at the Rustic Gate, in Big Rapids, MI. This retreat is intended to be a nourishing respite from everyday life. You’ll have a chance to write, rest, meditate, receive body work & connect with other participants - all events are optional and self-led by your interest to participate as much or as little as you’d like. Healing is an individual path.

Who Should Come

You are someone who is working to heal a past or current trauma, or perhaps just feeling stuck or overwhelmed in patterns that aren’t serving you well. You might be in the early stages of your healing process, or perhaps you’ve been on this journey for some time, but are looking for additional tools to aid you on your path. Regardless of where you are, a weekend of self-care and nourishment would be a most welcome gift.

The Area

Situated in mid-lower Michigan, the Inn at the Rustic Gate sits just inside the Huron-Manistee National Forest, an area renowned for its quiet beauty. The Inn aspires to, “create a transformational space, to provide a place of welcome and calm that will allow you to temporarily step back from the demands of your everyday life.” You will have the opportunity to stroll the rolling meadows or hike the woodland trails. To pause and take in the beauty of nature offers an invitation for healing and contemplation.

LODGING

Inn at the Rustic Gate

Innkeepers Patricia Barrett, Marcia Stroko and Sharon Stroko have created a space, “where the concept of creativity in its many forms and dimensions would be honored.”

Each room contains a private bath and is decorated in simple, natural themes to accentuate the surroundings.
